American Football - Never Meant

Despite being a short lived (3 year) band in the late 90s American Football of Urbana, Illinois still runs my iPod. This band was the creation of Mike Kinsella (formerly of Cap’n Jazz and Joan of Arc and currently of Owen). Kinsella’s math-rock shoegaze instrumentation never seems to get old. Give ‘Never Meant’ a listen.
