what are your thoughts on M.I.A. at the moment? because i've been having people say that she's selling out i.e. appearing in New York Times magazine etc.

I’ve never been that much of a fan of M.I.A. I feel like M.I.A. is more of an image than a musical talent. Paper Planes is a sick song, but that’s probably because it was produced by Diplo. And even Diplo borrowed the idea from The Clash (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ3N1zfxTGQ&feature=related).
